Ms. Hedrick is an AV-rated commercial litigation attorney, mediator and arbitrator. She often serves as a neutral mediator or arbitrator in all types of civil cases. She is a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator with certifications from the Florida Supreme Court and the United States District Court. As a client advocate or as a neutral selected by parties to assist with dispute resolution, Ms. Hedrick has handled many types of business and personal disputes.
Ms. Hedrick's experience includes the following:
- Preventing or resolving employment disputes through consultation, preparation of contracts, handbooks, policies and procedures, training, and alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
- Jury and non-jury trials of employment and other business and personal disputes.
- Handling discrimination complaints, non-compete agreements and disputes, trade secrets, family and medical leave issues, wage/overtime audits and claims, employment contracts, bonuses and commissions, and other employment law issues. Advising employers on racial and sexual harassment and other internal investigations.
- Appellate work in federal and state courts of appeal and United States Supreme Court.
- Arbitrator in employment/business disputes.
